Eric Cheng was a computer scientist and cellist before he took a camera into the ocean and fell in love with it. Since then, he has become well known for his underwater imagery, which has been published in numerous magazines, books, and websites. Eric is also a passionate educator, giving workshops and seminars on underwater photography and marine life in locations around the world. At home in California, Eric owns and runs Wetpixel.com, the premiere online resource for underwater photographers, and in 2007, he launched Wetpixel Quarterly, a print magazine featuring the best in underwater photography. Eric also writes a monthly column for Sport Diver Magazine, one of the largest scuba diving magazines in the world.
